Students have made St Aldates a home away from home for over 100 years: a place to belong as we live lives of hope, gratitude and worship to God. Whoever you are, we’d love you to join in with us as we live out the way of Jesus together. If you are new to church or exploring the Christian faith, come and observe, ask questions and make friends.
Please come and introduce yourself on a Sunday or at one of our student events; or drop us an email.
In the meantime, here’s some of what we’re about.
Student night Thursdays 7pm in the Church This weekly gathering is the foundation of our student community. Expect a great dinner, chat, lively worship and a talk. And expect God to change us as we lay down our own agendas and seek Him and his purposes. ‘I love the community, the Brookes/Oxford mix and the integration’ |

We'd love every student at St Aldates to be in some form of an engaging Christian community whether it's a student Pastorate, a CU group or whatever else. Get yourself into some honest relationships so you can truly live your faith.
‘My pastorate was the best thing about last year.’

Serve
There are many ways to get involved at St Aldates, from helping in the kitchen on Thursdays before student night, on a Sunday rota welcoming new students, or serving hot drinks to those on the streets. This is a great way to find your place in the church family and experience the joy of giving your life away. To find out how you can help, email students@staldates.org.uk |

Student ball Twice a year we have quite the party with banqueting, live acts, loads of surprises and dancing into the night. It’s not the kind of night to be missed so make sure you get yourself a ticket and some for your mates. ‘The balls are really fantastic – my friends keep wanting to come back' |

The Weekend away
Get away as far as Somerset for a break and build a term’s worth of friendship in just one weekend. We’ll meet with God, meet with each other and be refreshed and re-inspired.
Be on the look-out for our next weekend away in March of 2013! |
