Pulse 2008: professional art exhibition sponsored by Veritasse Oxford

Pulse 08 is an art exhibition with a difference, showcasing some of the best and most original art being produced by Oxford artists today. The aim of the show is to create a movement of hearts, a 'whisper' to people’s souls, showing them something of truth without any of the baggage of religion – in essence, a place of true rest.

Sponsored by the national Christian arts organisation, Veritasse, Pulse 08 is a brand new venture being held at St Aldates Church. There will be a private VIP viewing and three public evenings, all with live jazz and harpists, complimentary drinks and nibbles and guest speakers. The public opening night is on Saturday 17 May (7.30-10pm) in St Aldates Church and the exhibition then continues until Saturday 31 May (opening times below). Why not pop in to view the works, chat to the exhibiting artists and have a glass of wine?

Deliberately marketed as a professional art show with a highly exciting PR campaign, Pulse 08 will include work across all mediums including oils, pastels, watercolours, acrylic, mixed mediums, textiles/collages, drawings, photography, sculpture and short films. 30% of all art sales will be donated to ACT!, an Oxford-based charity committed to supporting the marginalised and socially excluded through practical initiatives that benefit both individuals and the community as a whole, including work in prisons and mentoring ex-offenders.
