As a result of some staffing changes, we are now recruiting for two new full-time operational roles. These are a Parish & Events Manager and a Parish & Events Administrator. This new team will be the central operational point of contact for all the core activities of the church and will be responsible for oversight of all the events held in the various church buildings together with the management of the commercial lettings business.
The Parish & Events Manager reports to the Operations Director and will have line management responsibility for the verger and catering teams. As well as the responsibilities outlined above, this role also covers the core administration of the church, including management of both people and client databases. Management and nurturing of the extensive volunteer team within the church is also a key part of this role.
The Parish & Events Administrator reports to the Parish & Events Manager and will support the Manager in all of the above areas, with a particular focus on the administration, sales and marketing of our commercial lettings business, including budgeting and invoicing.
