LOVE EUROPE WEEKEND, 6-7 NOVEMBER 2009
St Aldates will be hosting around 80 church leaders from 12 or more countries around Europe on this weekend. There is a strong vision within the Leadership to support the church in Europe and we hope that this weekend will be a source of inspiration, encouragement and refreshment to those who travel to join us.
On Friday 6 November 2009, there will be an invitation-only consultation for key European church leaders at which we will present some emerging ideas of ways in which St Aldates can practically help our brothers and sisters on the continent and ask for feedback and input. Elliott Tepper, the founder of Betel International Ministries in Spain, will be giving input, as well as Jeff and Romkje Fountain of YWAM International.
The New Wine Day of Prayer on Saturday 7 November 2009 will be an opportunity for our congregation to join with many people from all around Europe and the UK to lift up the continent in prayer. The main teaching will again come from Elliott Tepper. We are also honoured to have the Lord Mayor of Oxford, Mary Clarkson, joining us to offer some words of welcome to our city.
We want to offer hospitality and accommodation to all those travelling to join us for this weekend. Therefore we are asking those in our church with any spare rooms to consider hosting some of our guests during this weekend. If you would like to do this, please email John Tranter.
