At St Aldates, we have chosen to make worship and intercession a big priority. We encourage every member to do this in their own prayer lives, but we also want to grow in it together. Our monthly HUNGRY meetings (8pm, last wednesday of the month), are an opportunity to put this desire into practice, as we join together in prayer and song for our families, city and nation. Or why not regularly commit to praying for one particular nation or people group, for the marginalised, for young people or the city of Oxford? There are groups for each of these - and more - meeting at different times throughout the week, from our 7am Daily Prayer Meetings, before the busyness of the day, to lunch time worship hours, or evening and weekend meetings.
We believe that the destiny of individuals, households, cities and nations can be shaped in the place of prayer as we encounter God; so we invite you to discover the delights of prayer with us this term.
