Short-term missions are often life changing. They bless the host, expose you to new cultures and help you catch God's heart for the nations.
This year, we are planning several short-term teams travelling to four different continents: Central Asia, Brazil, Japan, France, Austria, Macedonia, Sierra Leone, two teams in Oxford and one team to a Betel Centre in the UK.
Together, they involve hiking in remote villages, running childrens clubs, helping to lift people out of poverty, standing with the broken, evangelising, supporting churches and much more.
They are designed with the complete beginner in mind - you'll be part of an organised team with an experienced leader, getting help with fundraising, teaching on mission and team building - but we are looking for committed people who are prepared to serve throughout the mission experience, and those who are open to being called into God's mission in the future.
For all the details on our teams, please go to our mission webpages by clicking here, or come along to the Morning or Evening Service's on 27 Nov 2011 to meet our mission teams in person. |
