We are starting September by seeking God in prayer!
For 21 days, St Aldates is praying together as one church – following a simple daily rhythm called 7 1 7: devote at 7am, depend at 1pm, and gather with loved ones, friends and family at 7pm to seek God together.

Prayer is essential to everything we do at St Aldates. This September we're setting aside 21 days to seek God together – launching into autumn refreshed in his presence, and praying for the renewal and transformation of our church, our city and our world.
7 1 7 is the shape of each day: three moments – 7am, 1pm and 7pm – to turn our attention back to God. At 7am we devote ourselves to him and at 1pm we remember our dependence on him, wherever we happen to be. Then at 7pm we gather with loved ones, friends and family to pray and worship – and on Wednesday 23 September the whole church comes together for the Prayer & Worship Night.

Wherever you are, stop and pray the Lord's Prayer – knowing the whole church is praying it with you. You're also invited to fast, particularly lunch, and use that time to pray: stepping away from everyday comforts to depend on God's strength in the middle of ordinary life.
Every Monday at 1pm, a St Aldates leader goes live on Instagram for a short, informal pause together.

Most of 7 1 7 you keep wherever you are – mornings and lunchtimes on your own, evenings with your loved ones, friends and family. Alongside it, there are a few moments across the 21 days when we come together as a church.
One night for the whole church to gather in worship and prayer.
A midweek evening given over to worship and prayer, all ages together. If you come to one thing during the 21 days, come to this.
Prayer & worship with friends and family
Gather with your loved ones, friends and family to exalt, intercede and seek God together – simple, unhurried and open to everyone. On the opening and closing Sundays, extended prayer and worship is connected to our Sunday gatherings.
