We long for the mountain-top moments of our large Sunday gatherings to be matched by living-rooms moments in small midweek Groups. We want Aldates to be your home and for you to find people to grow in faith with. Which is why we would love for you to consider committing to an Aldates Group. Church can be so much more than 2-hours on a Sunday!
What is an Aldates Group?
An Aldates Group is a community of 10-15 people loving, encouraging, and supporting each other in their life and faith. They meet weekly to eat together, pray together, and study the Bible together. Aldates Groups is for you if you want to:

The Group Vision Night is where we share with you the what, why, and how of Aldates Groups. We want you to know the joy and richness of what you’ll step into, as well as the shared commitments that make our groups flourish.
Our next Groups Vision Night will be taking place in January 2026!But in the meantime, email us at groups@staldates.org.uk to go for a coffee with one of the team.

How to join a group.
Lead an Aldates Group.
Group leaders act as core members and community pastors of St Aldates. You don’t need a theology degree, have a large house, or be an extroverted socialite - just a heart to serve and follow Jesus! If you want to learn about leading an Aldates Group, we would love to hear from you.
